Robert Gordon University celebrates WHD23 in the UK!

World Heart Day RGU Friday 29th September 2023
A very well attended successful event staffed by our enthusiastic volunteer staff who supervised our volunteer students. All Clinical activity was overseen by our Dean, Professor Susan Dawkes.
We had two competitions and prizes were kindly donated by the British Heart Foundation. The two events were :

Most effective CPR -20 took part in the competition but certainly more had a turn! The winner achieved 99% effectiveness.

Bike Ride How far can you travel in five minutes? 21 took part in the competition but certainly many more had a turn! The fastest distance achieved was 3.55kms
Well done and thankyou to all our RGU student volunteers who impressed us all with their enthusiasm and professionalism, supported by our wonderful staff volunteers.
