href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/news\/2022-emerging-leaders-cohort-announced\/\"><strong> countries<\/strong><\/a> attended the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">eighth<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/emerging-leaders\/\">WHF Salim Yusuf Emerging Leaders<\/a><\/strong> Seminar <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in Buenos Aires, Argentina<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Emerging Leaders have joined <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a 175-people expert community <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in cardiovascular health and explored the topic of <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CVD and infectious diseases<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (COVID-19, influenza and Chagas disease).<\/span><span F<\/span>ocusing on a different priority area each year, the objective of the training module is to reduce the global burden of\u00a0cardiovascular disease in line with the <strong>UN Sustainable week, the new Emerging Leaders cohort received a tailored training programme and had to produce a seed-funded group project.
