The 76th World Health Assembly (WHA)<\/a> will gather the world\u2019s health ministers and policymakers from 21 to 30 May 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland. Over the week they will deliberate and adopt resolutions related to health topics of global interest and importance, appoint the Director-General, manage the WHO\u2019s finances, and review and approve the proposed programme budget.<\/p>\n

Following consideration at the January 2023 meeting of the WHO\u2019s Executive Board (EB152), the WHA agenda has been set to include a range of health topics, from defeating meningitis to action on nutrition. The World Heart Federation is closely following a number of items related to heart health and noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), including agenda items:<\/p>\n
