{"id":17312,"date":"2024-05-08T11:08:48","date_gmt":"2024-05-08T09:08:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/?post_type=news&#038;p=17312"},"modified":"2024-05-08T11:11:58","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T09:11:58","slug":"world-heart-grants-application","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/news\/world-heart-grants-application\/","title":{"rendered":"World Heart Grants 2024 are open!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted to open applications for a new round of <a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/world-heart-grants\/world-heart-grants\/\">World Heart Grants,<\/a> available exclusively to WHF Members.<\/p>\n<p>The World Heart Grants support our Members\u2019 efforts to raise awareness of heart health and reduce the burden and impact of cardiovascular disease in their communities. We are looking for projects that\u202freflect\u202four mission to connect and lead the cardiovascular community, translate science into policy, and stimulate knowledge exchange. The projects should be implemented under the following categories:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Category 1<\/strong>: Activities aiming at celebrating <strong>World Heart Day 2024<\/strong>, including media campaigns, fundraising events, awareness events and activities such as concerts, sporting events, and marathon runs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Category 2<\/strong>: Projects that raise awareness about the link between <strong>air pollution and cardiovascular disease.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Category 3<\/strong>: Projects that aim to prevent <strong>tobacco use and consumption among youth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have once again partnered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hjart-lungfonden.se\/om-oss\/in-english\/\">Swedish Heart Lung Foundation<\/a> to provide funding for projects in categories 2 and 3.
