The NCD Programme Managers and Directors will share best practice and experience on how to implement the four time-bound national commitments for 2015 and 2016 included in the 2014 UN Outcome Document on NCDs, taking into account the NCD-related targets included in the proposed Sustainable Development Goals and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda on Financing for Development.<\/p>\n
The main meeting is closed, however the WHO has organized two side events that include Civil Society, and World Heart Federation (WHF) has been invited to present during these sessions. Johanna Ralston, WHF CEO, will speak on WHF Roadmaps<\/a>, and Pablo Perel, WHF Senior Science Advisor will discuss proposals for a fixed dose combination strategy.<\/p>\n Other topics to be covered by the meeting revolve around six themes: governance, prevention, health systems, coordination and integration, access to medicines and financing for NCDs.<\/p>\n
