{"id":2445,"date":"2017-01-13T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-01-13T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/news\/rheumatic-heart-disease-from-molecules-to-the-global-community\/"},"modified":"2023-08-09T10:15:35","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T08:15:35","slug":"rheumatic-heart-disease-from-molecules-to-the-global-community","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/news\/rheumatic-heart-disease-from-molecules-to-the-global-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Rheumatic Heart Disease From Molecules to the Global Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>WHF Advocacy Team are taking part in RHD Meeting<\/h2>\n<p>From 13-16 January, the World Heart Federation Advocacy Team will be participating in <em>\u2018Rheumatic Heart Disease: from Molecules to the Global Community\u2019, <\/em>a conference on rheumatic heart disease (RHD) held in Cairo, Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>Co-organized by the <a href=\"http:\/\/aswanheartcentre.com\/\">Aswan Heart Centre<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pascar.org\/\">Pan-African Society of Cardiology (PASCAR)<\/a>, the meeting will include presentations from experts and academics on topics such as secondary prevention programmes, genetic and geographic determinants of <a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/what-we-do\/rheumatic-heart-disease\/\">RHD<\/a>, and RHD vaccine development.
