{"id":2485,"date":"2017-08-29T08:38:00","date_gmt":"2017-08-29T07:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/news\/wcc2018-at-esc2017\/"},"modified":"2021-04-30T19:11:15","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T18:11:15","slug":"wcc2018-at-esc2017","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/news\/wcc2018-at-esc2017\/","title":{"rendered":"WCC2018 at ESC2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To celebrate the World Heart Federation World Congress of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Health 2018, which will take place 5-8 December in Dubai, a special reception was organized during the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-2728 media-2728\" class=\"align-none break-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.world-heart-federation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Image-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The ESC Congress is visited by more than 32,000 cardiologists from all over the world and we were delighted to welcome to our reception continental and national society and foundation representatives from every region.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Abdullah Shahab, President of the Emirates Cardiac Society, welcomed all attendees and invited them to join us at WCC 2018 in December next year. Professor Mohamad Zubaid, President of the Gulf Heart Association, also talked briefly about our Congress scientific programme which promises to be one of our most diverse yet.<\/p>\n<p>At the end the event, Professor David Wood, President of the World Heart Federation, thanked both the Emirates Cardiac Society and Gulf Heart Association for their partnership with WHF and once again invited everyone to attend WCC 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The event was sponsored by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To celebrate the World Heart Federation World Congress of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Health 2018, which will take place 5-8 December in Dubai, a special reception was organized during the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Barcelona.
