The World Congress on Tobacco or Health, which will be held on 7-9 March in Cape Town, South Africa, has announced its late breaker sessions, which showcase the latest research and innovations in tobacco control.

Highlights include a session on New and Local Evidence to Advance Tobacco Control in Africa, which will be held on 9th March at 15:45, as well as e-poster sessions on smokeless tobacco, exposure to second-hand aerosol from e-cigarettes and tobacco farming and alternative livelihoods.

Scientific research and evidence-based policy are the foundations of tobacco control alliances that fortify us in our challenging and ever-changing environment, and these sessions showcase the important work that is being done in the area.

Two teams from our 2016 Emerging Leaders cohort will be running workshops at the conference, both of which will be held on Tuesday 6th March at 9.30am.
