For this purpose, within the frame of the campaign <strong>For the American heart<\/strong> launched in 2018, the SIAC has projected actions in respect of three international dates: Hypertension Week (May), Heart Week (Sept-Oct) and Diabetes Week (Nov).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.world-heart-federation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/For-the-American-heart-EN.pdf\">Read more about the <strong>&#8220;For the American heart&#8221; 2018 Campaign<\/strong> in English<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Campa\u00f1a 2018 &#8220;Por el coraz\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica&#8221; de la Sociedad Interamericana de Cardiolog\u00eda<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La Sociedad Interamericana de Cardiolog\u00eda (SIAC), por expreso mandato de sus Sociedades miembro, pone en marcha una estrategia de prevenci\u00f3n orientada a la Comunidad, con el claro objetivo de incidir positivamente en la reducci\u00f3n de las discapacidades y muerte cardiovascular en la Regi\u00f3n de las Am\u00e9ricas y de esta manera contribuir al postulado del 25 x 25 de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud y de la World Heart Federation.<\/p>\n<p>Con este objetivo crea el Consejo de SIAComunidad, que a partir de la movilizaci\u00f3n de distintos sectores de la sociedad buscar\u00e1 instalar en el consciente colectivo las premisas fundamentales de la vida saludable como estrategia de prevenci\u00f3n.
