The International Council of Nurses (ICN), a member of the Global Coalition for Circulatory Health, has released a statement together with the International Confederation of Midwives and Nursing Now, calling for\u00a0the involvement of the health workforce in the WHO High-level Commission on NCDs report, which will be used at the Third United Nations High-level Meeting on NCDs in September.<\/p>\n
Annette Kennedy, President of the International Council of Nurses and member of the High-level Commission on NCDs, has also written a statement<\/a>\u00a0on the central role that nurses play in arresting and controlling NCDs.<\/p>\n
