Hasegawa<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 23<sup>rd<\/sup> meeting of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iscpcardio.org\/\">International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP)<\/a> was organized in Kyoto, Japan, May 26-27<sup>th<\/sup> and chaired by its president, Koji Hasegawa. The programme focused on the development of new medicines for the <a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/what-is-cvd\/\">treatment of CVD<\/a>. The\u00a0Henry N. Neufeld Memorial Award Lecture was presented by Lina Badimon, from Barcelona, Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The World Heart Federation (WHF) was represented by our CEO Jean-Luc Eisel\u00e9 who participated in a joint WHF-ISCP Plenary Session on \u201cGlobal Cardiovascular Risk Management to Achieve 25 by 25\u201d. This event was also the opportunity to meet and discuss business and anecdotes with two of our past presidents, C. Kawai (1987-88) and M.
