(Members only)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nominations are now open for the World Heart Federation\u2019s 2019-2020 Board. We are accepting nominations for the positions of <strong>President-Elect<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/board-nominations-2020-vice-president\/\"><strong>Vice President-Elect<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Secretary-Treasurer<\/strong> and <strong>six At Large roles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline for nominations is 6 July 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Nomination committee wishes to ensure an equal and balanced representation of all regions and of our diverse membership. With this in mind, we are specifically seeking candidates from the EURO, EMRO and WPRO regions, with priority given to foundations, and candidates from the PAHO, AFRO and SEARO regions, with priority given to candidates from scientific societies. For future board nominations, priority regions will be rotated, giving an equal chance to all our members to be represented.<\/p>\n<p>This year the elections will be held online prior to the General Assembly, which will take place on <strong>7th December 2018<\/strong> during the World Congress of Cardiology &amp; Cardiovascular Health in Dubai.
