The world\u2019s first Global Active Cities were honoured at an awards ceremony as part of the opening celebrations for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n
Buenos Aires<\/strong>, Argentina;\u00a0Hamburg<\/strong>, Germany;\u00a0Lillehammer<\/strong>, Norway;\u00a0Liverpool<\/strong>, UK;\u00a0Ljubljana<\/strong>, Slovenia; and\u00a0Richmond<\/strong>, British Columbia, Canada were officially certified at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) celebration.<\/p>\n The ceremony took place during the\u00a0Olympism In Action Forum<\/a>, which continues today.<\/p>\n
