Applications are now open for the 2021-2022 eLearning courses of the Health Promotion Division at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI).<\/strong> PHFI<\/a> is a public-private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies, including Indian and international academia, state and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups.<\/p>\n The courses commenced in 2011 as a capacity-building initiative aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of key concepts in health promotion and their application into programmes, policies and interventions in India. These courses are open to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Allied Health Sciences or equivalent.<\/p>\n Applicants could be self-sponsored applicants or be nominated by their governments, and they have the flexibility to study at their own pace while keeping their current job or academic commitments.<\/p>\n 4 Core Modules and 1 Elective Module<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n South Asian candidates – USD 600<\/p>\n International candidates – USD 1200<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n <\/p>\n 8 Core Modules and 3 Elective Modules<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n South Asian candidates – USD 250<\/p>\n International candidates\u00a0 – USD 300<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n <\/p>\n\n\n

\n Course<\/strong><\/td>\n eCourse on Tobacco Control<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Details<\/strong><\/td>\n It aims to strengthen the capacity of public health and medical professionals in tobacco control issues and cessation in India. The course focuses on the health, economic, social and environmental impact of tobacco use.
