The 2019 Emerging Leaders cohort, which\u00a0includes candidates from 18 countries across 5 continents<\/strong>, has been announced.<\/p>\n The\u00a0WHF Salim Yusuf Emerging Leaders Programme<\/strong>\u00a0was created by the World Heart Federation to form and develop a long-term cadre of experts who collaborate, research, and act to reduce premature mortality from cardiovascular disease (CVD) globally.<\/p>\n The 2019 cohort marks the sixth year of the programme and will focus on heart failure<\/strong>. The 25 successful candidates will\u00a0participate in online training, a five-day think tank seminar and collaborative group work based on proposals developed during the seminar with seed funding support from the World Heart Federation from meritorious applications.
