The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on the healthcare profession, national healthcare systems and our individual responsibilities &#8211; for our own health and for the vulnerable in society.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t know what course the pandemic will take in the future but we do know that taking care of our hearts right now is more important than ever.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Use Heart to take part<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We rely on supporters around the world to help us to make World Heart Day more impactful every year \u2013 a powerful platform for positive change and to help people live longer, better, healthier lives.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what you can do right now as we build towards 29 September:<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISCOVER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Find out all about our campaign by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/world-heart-day\/\"><span style=\"color: #df1024;text-decoration: underline #df1024\">visiting our website<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TAKE ACTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can get involved right now by\u00a0downloading and using our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/world-heart-day\/whd-resources\"><span style=\"color: #df1024;text-decoration: underline #df1024\">campaign resources<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHINE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every year on 29 September iconic landmarks, monuments, buildings and hospitals illuminate in support of World Heart Day.
