National Monument (Monas)

National Monument or popularly called “Monas”. It is the national monument of the Republic of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence. At the top, there is a tongue of fire covered by gold leaf that depicts the spirit of struggle of the Indonesian nation. The National Monument has a height of 132 meters located in the center of the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta, this monument is also an icon and a favorite tourist destination in the city of Jakarta.
