Capacity Building Programmes

Capacity Building Programmes

The purpose of the World Heart Federation’s Capacity Building programs is to build a cadre of skilled, motivated, and connected individuals who can champion the cause of cardiovascular health, ultimately leading to healthier hearts and communities worldwide.

World Heart Federation (WHF) Leadership in Advocacy in Communications programme is an initiative aimed at empowering seasoned professionals to lead and advocate for innovative change in cardiovascular health worldwide. This programme serves as a cornerstone in identifying and empowering existing and seasoned leaders and advocates in the field of cardiovascular health.

By providing a platform and space for exchange with other leaders, networking opportunities, and further skills development, the programme aims to continue to support the leaders as they continue to lead and advocate in their communities.

World Heart Federation (WHF) Emerging Leaders programme is an initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing young talents in the field of cardiovascular health. It typically targets individuals who show promise in making significant contributions to global heart health in the future. The program often involves mentorship, networking opportunities, skill development, and access to resources to empower emerging leaders to drive positive change in cardiovascular health on a global scale.

Through this program, the WHF aims to cultivate a new generation of leaders who will champion heart health initiatives and address the challenges faced in combating cardiovascular diseases worldwide.

Equip leaders with advanced communication skills to be persuasive speakers, advocates, to build bridges, and drive positive change that enable us to achieve our vision of cardiovascular health for all.

EMPOWER LEADERS

By providing training, resources, and networking opportunities, these programmes empower leaders in cardiovascular health to drive meaningful change within their communities and beyond.

ENHANCE COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Through workshops, seminars, and practical experiences, participants gain essential skills in advocacy, communication, leadership, and campaign management, equipping them to effectively address cardiovascular health challenges.

PROMOTE COLLABORATION

By bringing together professionals, researchers, patients, and advocates from diverse backgrounds, these programs foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing, encouraging innovative approaches to tackling cardiovascular diseases on a global scale.

AMPLIFY VOICES

By amplifying the voices of those working in cardiovascular health, these programmes help raise awareness, influence policy, and mobilize resources to support initiatives aimed at preventing and managing heart diseases worldwide.

CULTIVATE SUSTAINABILITY

By investing in capacity building, World Heart Federation ensures the sustainability of efforts to improve cardiovascular health, empowering individuals and organizations to continue making a positive impact long after the programmes have concluded.
