National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) is Pakistan’s leading heart-care provider, treating over 2.3 million patients annually free of cost. Established in 1956, it has expanded to include 10 satellite centers and Chest Pain Units (CPUs), improving access to cardiovascular care across Sindh. Governed by the Government of Sindh, NICVD remains at the forefront of cardiac care, providing prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients nationwide.
