On 26 January, following a review, the World Heart Federation’s Official Relations status with the World Health Organization (WHO) was renewed by the 142nd session of the Executive Board.
According to WHO, ‘Official Relations’ status indicates that an organization’s activities are in ‘conformity with the spirit, purposes and principles of WHO’s Constitution’, and ‘contribute significantly to the advancement of public health’.
We look forward to continuing to work closely with WHO on the prevention and control of cardiovascular diseases and to represent the views and voices of the CVD community at WHO meetings.
