The World Heart Day celebration offers a chance to increase public awareness of cardio vascular disease, its prevention, and controlling to reduce it is complication and give chance for fee medical health check. A celebration committee has been established by the National Center for Disease Control and the Libyan cardiac societies to plan the celebration in every Libyan cities, recruit volunteers, oversee the scientific material that is presented, create brochures and posters for the celebration, and modify the scientific material that is presented by the World Heart Federation and distribute it to Libyan cities that respond to celebrate and continue to support and keep up the encouragement and support Volunteers
volunteer teams from all over Libya started responding on August 19, 2024, by performing voluntary work that included educating people about cardio vascular disease, its prevention, diagnosis, and medical examinations that included checking blood pressure, sugar risk assessment, and assessing body mass, index, they also gave instructions based on measurements and gave individual awareness lectures Certain awareness teams' programs included dispelling myths, teaching kids via art and their own initiatives, and holding scientific lectures to improve medical professionals' effectiveness.

The celebration was held in multiple locations. Indoors and outdoors, Examples include workplaces, gardens, parks, universities, and health centers. Awareness leaflets were distributed to individuals in the places of celebration, and filling out a questionnaire to determine the extent to which people know heart disease and then giving them the correct answer.
volunteers and health professionals used media to disseminate knowledge about prevention and the importance of periodic medical examinations, such as TV and radio social media. Further, as a committee, we use the hypertension campaign account to view different teams activities and for education.

WORLD HEART DAY celebration is a journey rather than a single step to prevent and reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases, because that it was not limited to a single day and is still going strong in many cities.
