As part of the World Heart Day 2026 campaign, the Afghanistan Cardiovascular Association (ACA), with sponsorship from Ariana Medical Complex (AMC), conducted cardiovascular disease prevention and Basic Life Support (BLS) educational sessions on 12–13 September 2026 at several high schools in Kabul. The initiative targeted high-school students, recognizing adolescence as a critical period for establishing behaviors that can influence lifelong cardiovascular health.
