This Center was created in 1982 first as University Coordination in the Civil Hospital of Culiacán Sinaloa, Mexico, by the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, and on January 28, 2011, by agreement of the H. University Council, it was constituted as Academic Unit and the current name CIDOCS was assigned. It currently has medical residencies in 15 specialties and has high-quality technology to provide low-cost services aimed mainly at the low-income population.
