On November 27, 2017, the World Heart Federation met together with a multi-stakeholder group of experts representing different scientific bodies and patient associations, and the Deusto Business School Health (DBS Health) to brainstorm how to address the urgent situation of cholesterol in Spain. Prior to this meeting there was a situational analysis conducted which allowed for a productive discussion to develop a cholesterol roadmap for Spain.
In January 2018 there will be an official press launch of this work group attended by both the President of the WHF David Wood and the President of the Spanish Heart Foundation.
