European Healthy Stadia Conference 2017: 27 April, Emirates Stadium, London

The initial programme of speaker organisations has been released for the European Healthy Stadia Conference, which will be held on 27 April at Emirates Stadium (London), home of Arsenal FC.

 This will be the fourth international conference held by World Heart Federation partner Healthy Stadia, and is now considered the principal symposium for professionals involved in the cross-cutting fields of public health, NCD prevention and sport, but will also be of interest to those working in social responsibility and sustainability.

The 2017 edition of the conference is set the be attended by over 250 delegates and will have a specific focus on the growing interaction between academic research, policy and practice in the field of Healthy Stadia, with presentations from: UEFA, World Heart Federation, Royal Dutch Football Association, Institute of Alcohol Studies, Norwegian Football Federation, European Golf Tour, EU Sport Unit, English Premier League; plus 10 clubs and 12 research organisations presenting emerging trends and good practices.
