Global Heart enters top 25% of cardiology journals

We are pleased to share that Global Heart, the official journal of the World Heart Federation, has seen its Impact Factor rise from 3.1 to 5.7. The Impact Factor reflects how often recent articles in a journal are cited by other researchers, and this increase shows that work published in Global Heart is being cited more widely and contributing more strongly to global cardiovascular research.

As a result, Global Heart is now placed in the top 25% of cardiology journals worldwide and among the top 50 of more than 230 journals in the field. “The progress of Global Heart reflects the quality and consistency of the research being published, as well as the strong work of our editors and reviewers. We remain focused on ensuring the journal provides a reliable, globally relevant platform for cardiovascular research that can support better clinical practice and health policy.”, said Prof. Raul Santos, Editor-in-Chief of Global Heart.
