It’s exactly one month until the World Congress of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Health 2016 and we look forward to seeing you there. You don’t have to be a WHF member to attend: it’s your chance to learn from world leaders, network with other specialists, share ideas and be inspired by best practice in cardiovascular health from other countries.
The 13 May deadline for lower registration fees is nearing
Please make sure your members and colleagues are aware and forward our latest news to your mailing list:
The tide is turning for women and CVD
Women and minorities have long been neglected in heart health. But this is all changing:
- Read specialist Emelia Benjamin’s interview and discover her WCC 2016 talks
- Don’t miss the pre-congress 5th International Conference on Women, Heart Disease and Stroke, co-organized by the American Heart Association and the World Heart Federation to extend knowledge and foster action globally about the prevention, identification and treatment of cardiovascular disease in women
- Monday 6 June is the WCC 2016 Wear Red Day to celebrate women’s heart health
WCC 2016 will be used as a platform to support the adoption of a national tobacco control legislation in Mexico in a campaign developed with the InterAmerican Heart Foundation and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
