New delicious and heart-healthy recipes from football stars

Based on the success of the Eat for Goals! app in English, the World Heart Federation is launching a Spanish version of the app developed in partnership with UEFA. Eat for Goals! is a cookery app which gives young people the opportunity to cook the same delicious and heart-healthy recipes as some of the world’s top footballers.

The Spanish app features 11 recipes that can easily be prepared with a child and complement a healthy and balanced diet: Alvaro ARBELOA’s Tuna and White Bean Salad, Mikel ARTETA’s Seafood Risotto, Veronica BOQUETE’s Two Colour Fish Cake, Ricardo IZECSON’s “KAKA” Brazilian Black Bean Stew, Ivan RAKITIC’s Lentil Shots, David VILLA’s Spaghetti Bolognaise, Cristiano RONALDO’s Haddock with Lemon & Vegetables, Lotta SCHELIN’s Fresh Fruit Salad, Paul POGBA’s Spaghetti al’ Arrabiata with Tuna and Vegetables, Sergio RAMOS’ Gratin Chicken with Peppers and Fernando TORRES’ Sautéed Chicken with Vegetables.

As well as seeing what football stars like to eat, the app also provides interesting food facts and step-by-step instructions, making it easy for even the less-experienced to make delicious, healthy meals in no time at all! In addition the Eat for Goals! app is a fun way to encourage young people to be physically active and eat heart-healthily from an early age. Eat for Goals! combines the goals of promoting healthy nutrition and active lifestyles to children and their parents in a fun and educational way.
