The event is to be held from the 9-11 December 2017 under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint: the Founder and Patron of Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP). The forum co-hosted by NCD Alliance and Friends of Cancer Patients will be held in Sharjah UAE. The forum will focus on national and global targets in line with the achievement of the NCD Alliance strategic plan 2016- 2020.
The success of the first Global NCD Alliance forum which occurred shortly after the unveiling of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provided an important platform for the NCD agenda and public health community. The 2nd forum is set to provide a significant opportunity for collaboration.
