WHF participates actively in the 23rd meeting of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP)

The 23rd meeting of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP) was organized in Kyoto, Japan, May 26-27th and chaired by its president, Koji Hasegawa. The programme focused on the development of new medicines for the treatment of CVD. The Henry N. Neufeld Memorial Award Lecture was presented by Lina Badimon, from Barcelona, Spain.

The World Heart Federation (WHF) was represented by our CEO Jean-Luc Eiselé who participated in a joint WHF-ISCP Plenary Session on “Global Cardiovascular Risk Management to Achieve 25 by 25”. This event was also the opportunity to meet and discuss business and anecdotes with two of our past presidents, C. Kawai (1987-88) and M. Maranhao (2001-02) as WHF will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in Dubai.

The 2019 conference will be organized in Lugano, Switzerland.
