World Heart Grants 2022 Winners Announced

We are thrilled to announce the 17 WHF Member organizations that have been selected to receive a World Heart Grant this year. Funded programmes support campaigns promoting World Heart Day, as well as an initiative raising awareness about the link between air pollution and cardiovascular disease, and a project aiming at preventing tobacco use and consumption among youth.

World Heart Grant Recipients and Projects:

Category 1 – 2,000 USD Grant: Projects that celebrate World Heart Day 2022.

 Category 2 – 10,000 USD Grant: Project that raises awareness about the link between air pollution and cardiovascular disease.

Nepal Heart Foundation (Nepal) – Proposal on Minimizing Air Pollution to reduce cardiovascular disease

 

 Category 3 – 10,000 USD Grant: Project that aims to prevent tobacco use and consumption among youth.

Indonesian Heart Foundation (Indonesia) – Sekolah Tanpa Advertising Rokok (STAR) – School with No Cigarette Advertisement
