❤️ World Heart Day 2026 | “Don’t Miss a Beat”
World Heart Day 2026 was observed on 29 September 2026 at the State Headquarters of the Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Bhubaneswar, with a strong focus on creating awareness about cardiovascular disease (CVD) and promoting heart-healthy living.
The awareness campaign brought together more than 300 students and teachers from different schools, staff members of Bharat Scouts & Guides, and doctors, reflecting a strong community commitment towards cardiovascular health.
The programme was graced and supported by the respected President and former Cabinet Minister, Government of Odisha, whose encouragement added significance to this important public-health initiative.
Under the theme “Don’t Miss a Beat,” we continued the momentum of raising awareness about cardiovascular disease—the world’s leading cause of death—and the importance of recognising its warning signs and symptoms early.
The programme included:
🎨 Drawing Competition on the theme of heart health
🚶 Walkathon promoting an active and healthy lifestyle
❤️ Heart-health awareness meeting with students, teachers, healthcare professionals and members of Bharat Scouts & Guides
The message was simple but powerful: Know your heart. Recognise the warning signs. Act early. Stay active. Eat healthy. And never ignore symptoms.
A healthy heart is not merely a personal responsibility—it is a shared commitment towards building a healthier and stronger society.
Let us continue the momentum. Don’t Miss a Beat. ❤️
