Our World Heart Grants support our Members’ efforts to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in their communities, reduce its burden and impact, and help people everywhere live longer, healthier lives.
Applications for the World Heart Grants 2024 are now closed.
Activities aiming at celebrating World Heart Day 2024: media campaigns, fundraising events, awareness events and activities such as concerts, sporting events, and marathon runs.
The applicant must clearly state the intended impact of their proposal. Depending on the nature of the project, impact may be measured by numbers of people included in or benefitting from the activity, pre- and post-activity measures of changes in knowledge/attitudes/awareness, or adaptation to the current situation.
Clear, focused, measurable objectives that can be achieved in the short term with a detailed timeline.
Sustainability of the impact evidenced by viable opportunities to use the activity (patient education materials, translations, workshops) for future initiatives.
Grant application: The grantee organization cannot apply for different WHF grants with the same proposal.
Association with other organizations: The grantee organization may team up with other stakeholder groups to carry out the project. Nevertheless, the recipient organization is the main responsible for leading and delivering the proposed activities.
Time frame: The project should be executed within three months from World Heart Day (29 September 2024).

Applicant must be a fully paid and recognized WHF Member at the time of application. Grants under categories 2 and 3 are restricted to WHF member organizations based in low, lower-middle, and upper-middle income countries
