Our Members are the lifeblood of our organization. Since its establishment in 1978, the World Heart Federation has been serving as the principal representative body for the cardiovascular community, representing more than 220 heart foundations, scientific societies and patient organizations in 113 countries.
Shape global health development agendas by providing strategic input from local to international levels, including access to WHO and UN platforms. Have a direct say by nominating candidates for WHF leadership, committees and awards. Enhance your organization’s credibility as a recognized Member of WHF.
Belong to our diverse global community of organizations dedicated to the prevention and control of CVD, with the chance to enjoy unrivalled networking opportunities at a number of global events, including the Global Summit on Circulatory Health and the World Congress of Cardiology. Members also have privileged access to the largest international network of global cardiovascular health leaders and stakeholders, sharing best practice and seeing your organization – and your members – recognized internationally.
WHF Members can harness the full suite of resources, including expert country-specific support on legislation and policy direction. Our full support of your organization includes allowing the use of our Member of WHF logo and promoting your events on our calendar. You will have a dedicated contact person at WHF, access to exclusive Member newsletters, and a weekly news round-up. If required, a WHF representative will support and attend your national event. We will also keep you informed of relevant WHF grant opportunities and you will receive priority access to World Heart Day resources.
Every year, our Members are invited to apply to our small grants programme, which exists to support our Members’ efforts to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in their communities, reduce its burden and impact, and help people live longer, healthier lives.
