Return to CVD Roadmaps Home
WHF Roadmaps provide a framework for regions and countries to develop their own Roadmaps, identifying and selecting the roadblocks and solutions relevant to their specific context and environment. Creating a Roadmap is a great way to visualise the challenges that a country may have when it comes to implementing change to improve cardiovascular health. It can become a powerful tool to identify priorities and take effective action toward a reduction of premature CVD mortality.
Roadmaps can serve as a basis for this process, and building a national Roadmap also represents an opportunity to create or update a national non-communicable disease (NCD) action plans.
