Verónica Inés Volberg, MD, FACC, FESC, is a cardiologist and the Head of the Echocardiography Laboratory in the Division of Cardiology at the Hospital de Clínicas “José de San Martín” at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has held this position since 2019. Additionally, Dr. Volberg is an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at the School of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires, a role she has been in since 2015.

Beyond her clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Volberg currently serves as the Deputy Chair of International Relations for the Argentine Society of Cardiology (2025).

From 2017 to 2019, she directed the “Heart and Women” initiative within the Argentine Society of Cardiology and currently acts as an advisor for this area, with her term beginning in 2025. Furthermore, she was the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Argentine Society of Cardiology in 2022 and the General Coordinator for the Argentine Congress of Cardiology in 2024.
