A Roadmap is a framework designed and developed by a team of experts from around the world to help identify challenges (roadblocks) and suggest potential solutions on specific topics impacting cardiovascular mortality.
At the national and regional level, the Roadmaps offer a framework to help prioritize and implement solutions to reduce premature CVD deaths in a specific context. WHF Roadmaps can serve as models for regions and countries to develop their own Roadmap, and create or update their national non-communicable disease (NCD) action plans. They offer a framework to bring together stakeholders with the objective of determining, prioritizing and implementing solutions to reduce premature CVD deaths in a collaborative and consultative approach.
