The heat is breaking records in some parts of the world — and people with heart problems are more at risk.✅ Use fans or air conditioning if available. If you are outside, stay in the shade as much as possible.💧 Water is best. Avoid alcohol and drinks with large amounts of sugar.☀️ Plan activities in the early morning or evening. Try to stay indoors when the sun and heat are most intense.👕 Loose, breathable, light-colored clothing helps your body cool down.🚨 Watch for symptoms like heavy sweating, dizziness, confusion, fast breathing or heartbeat. If these occur, move to a cooler place, hydrate, and seek medical help if symptoms worsen.💊 Know your medications: Ask your healthcare provider how heat might interact with your prescriptions. Don’t stop or change your medicines until you talk to your doctor.Share these tips to protect yourself and others at higher risk ❤️
