We are delighted to open applications for a new round of World Heart Grants, available exclusively to WHF Members.
The World Heart Grants support our Members’ efforts to raise awareness of heart health and reduce the burden and impact of cardiovascular disease in their communities. We are looking for projects that reflect our mission to connect and lead the cardiovascular community, translate science into policy, and stimulate knowledge exchange. The projects should be implemented under the following categories:
Category 1: Activities aiming at celebrating World Heart Day 2024, including media campaigns, fundraising events, awareness events and activities such as concerts, sporting events, and marathon runs.
Category 2: Projects that raise awareness about the link between air pollution and cardiovascular disease.
Category 3: Projects that aim to prevent tobacco use and consumption among youth.
We have once again partnered with the Swedish Heart Lung Foundation to provide funding for projects in categories 2 and 3. Please note that applicants must be a fully paid and recognized WHF Member at the time of application and that grants under the last two categories are restricted to WHF Member organizations based in low, lower-middle, and upper-middle-income countries.
