As part of the World Heart Federation’s mission to share credible and validated information from our members with a wider audience, we are pleased to make available to the general public our virtual assistant.
Using AI technologies and the ChatGPT language model, our virtual assistant offers everyone an interface to answer questions on cardiology and cardiovascular health in over 50 languages.
Our tool is different from the usual ChatGPT or other natural language chatbots. It uses exclusively scientifically and medically validated content from the World Heart Federation website, including PDFs from published documents, and from WikiCardio.
WikiCardio has been developed by the Argentine Society of Cardiology (ASC) in Spanish and offers a Wiki-style approach to over 500 articles written and reviewed by experts. Thanks to a partnership between the World Heart Federation and ASC, we are delighted to be able to offer this rich content to a wider and non-Spanish audience.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are rapidly evolving fields of study. We are constantly working to improve our services to make them more accurate, reliable, safe, and beneficial. Given the probabilistic nature of machine learning, the use of our services may in some situations result in incorrect output that does not accurately reflect real information or facts. Output in different languages might also result in translation mistakes. You should evaluate the accuracy of any output as appropriate for your use case, including by using human review of the output.
The responses you will get from the tool are created on demand and are not necessarily always identical. Different users might get slightly different responses depending on their previous interactions with the assistant.
We are constantly working to improve our tool by including other sources of validated information. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact us at [email protected].
