Applications are now open for the Emerging Leaders Programme 2025, which will focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of cardiovascular disease (CVD), with an emphasis on Implementation Science.
Now in its eleventh year, the WHF Emerging Leaders Programme provides training and networking opportunities in cardiovascular health policy and implementation research for healthcare practitioners, researchers, and global health advocates, while focusing on a different priority area every year.
The 25 successful candidates will join a global community of more than 240 leaders in cardiovascular health. Candidates will participate in a five-day seminar on 20–24 October 2025, to be held in Houston, Texas, USA. Attendees will undertake collaborative group work based on proposals developed during the seminar, with seed funding support from WHF for selected applications.
Candidates from academia, civil society, healthcare, government and the private sector are all encouraged to apply.
