AMRI HOSPITALS LTD marks WHD23!

AMRI Hospitals celebrated World Heart Day with a walkathon that drew 500 participants, including students from Roland Pharmacy College, members of Sabuja Bahini Berhampur, and local residents. Dr. Sraban Bibek, Berhampur's Police Superintendent, inaugurated the event as the chief guest.

The programme featured prominent speakers, including Prof. Dr. Umashankar Mishra and cardiologists from AMRI Hospital, Dr. Lingaraj Nath, and Dr. Jitendranath Pattnaik. Additionally, a Cardiology Continuing Medical Education (CME) session was organised with local physicians to mark World Heart Day. AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with SBI Retiree, also conducted a cardiology awareness health talk.

World Heart Day serves as a global platform to educate individuals about the significance of maintaining a healthy heart. Mr. Soumendra Priyadarshi, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, inaugurated the walkathon as the Chief Guest. Ms. Sulochana Das, Mayor of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, graced the event as the Guest of Honor. Other notable guests were Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, President of BD&S from Vedant Group, and prominent cardiologists from AMRI Hospitals, Bhubaneswar, including Dr. J.K. Padhi, Dr. Mahesh Agarwal, Dr. Dibya Ranjan Behera, Dr. Biswajeet Mohapatra, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Das.

Dr. Rohit Jaswal, Group Medical Director and Unit Head expressed gratitude for their support in promoting heart health awareness.
