World Heart Day ceremony in Iran

The World Heart Day ceremony was held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, by the Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center and Chamran Heart Hospital, in collaboration with several organizations such as the Iranian Cardiovascular Research Network and the Iranian Heart Foundation. The ceremony was attended by a group of patients with cardiovascular diseases and their families, healthy individuals, and hospital staff. The event included speeches by specialists on the importance of preventing cardiovascular diseases and a question-and-answer session with the audience, distribution of educational brochures among participants, and a painting competition for children and adolescents. Participants learned about the importance of preventing and controlling cardiovascular diseases and its strategies.
The Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center has been holding the World Heart Day ceremony annually in Isfahan since 2000 in coordination with the World Heart Federation.
