Bayero University celebrates WHD23

Under the banner of TJ Foundation under the chairmanship of right honorable Tajuddeen Abbas (the speaker of Federal republic of Nigeria) with a team of expert (Cardiologist, Laboratory Scientist, Nurses and Environmentalist). The exercise cover the whole Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm under heavy rain. About 1,009 people benefitted with free measurement of blood pressure, blood test of Glucose, Lipid profile and Free drugs (lisinopril, amlodipine and Aspirin) for at least 2 month. The Emir embraces the gathering and addressed the public on the value of this outreach. The day was full of joy and entertainments. Thank you so much for your reminder as an organ on this life saving activities as it keeps me alert on the forthcoming WORLD HEART DAY on daily basis. Many people were diagnosed after repeated BP measured to come up with the condition. Those known patients having High BP of 190/100 and above benefited with one BP apparatus each (90). A very helpful, joyful and delightful day was enjoyed by the medical team and the community
