The Cuban Society of Cardiology celebrates WHD 23

Last day September 29, a group of activities related to the celebration of World Heart Day were held in Cuba, involving 7 provinces of the country. These included health education talks, master lectures by prominent cuban cardiologists, massive blood pressure measurements of the population, visits to cardiovascular rehabilitation centers, graphic advertising, posters, as well as extensive dissemination through social networks. At the Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, an emotional cultural scientific activity was carried out with the participation of cardiologists, nurses, health technicians, patients and families in which the importance of taking care of our hearts was emphasized.

This year's campaign focuses on the essential step of knowing our hearts first:
