Applications are now open for the Emerging Leaders Programme 2024, which will focus on fixed-dose combination therapies for cardiovascular disease.
Now in its tenth year, the WHF Emerging Leaders Programme provides training and networking opportunities in cardiovascular health policy and implementation research for healthcare practitioners, researchers, and global health advocates, while focusing on a different priority area every year.
The 25 successful candidates will join a global community of more than 200 leaders in cardiovascular health. Candidates will participate in a five-day seminar on 28 October – 1 November 2024, to be held in Mombasa, Kenya, in collaboration with the Kenyan Cardiac Society. Attendees will undertake collaborative group work based on proposals developed during the seminar, with seed funding support from WHF for selected applications.
Candidates from academia, civil society, healthcare, government and the private sector are all encouraged to apply. Candidates may be affiliated with a WHF Member organization, but this is not mandatory.
Apply by 29 February here.
