AHA Scientific Sessions 2017 were held in Anaheim (California), USA, from November 11–15, aiming to provide a blueprint to the future of cardiovascular science and medicine.
The World Heart Federation was present with a booth and held a reception on the evening of November 12. The reception was attended by 80 guests, bringing together our members, sponsors and supporters as we launched the call for candidates for the World Heart Federation Emerging Leaders Programme 2018. WHF also presented Beatriz Champagne, the Executive Director of the InterAmerican Heart Foundation (IAHF) a certificate in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the vision and mission of the World Heart Federation as her term will be ending in 2017.
