WHF attends the 30th Mexican Congress of Cardiology

The XXX Mexican Congress was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco from 2-5 November 2017.  The scientific program included the main national and international cardiology societies, as well as renowned opinion leaders in the topics that enriched the academic content of the Congress and helped disseminate their knowledge in each joint session.

The WHF was represented by Board Member Prof. Daniel Piñeiro. The joint session Sociedad Mexicana de Cardiología-WHF included several topics as the Global Hearts Initiative, an Action Plan to Reduce Morbidity and Mortality in CVDs in Latin America, the Current Situation of CVDs in Mexico, Comprehensive CV risk reduction in Diabetes, with discussions.  It was a very fruitful Congress highlighting the need to focus on CVDs urgently.
