National CPR Challenge Campaign
As part of the National CPR Challenge campaign,Srinivasa Heart Foundation conducted a nationwide campaign on heart health,cardiac arrest and CPR on 29th September 2022 .The event was done over Zoom and information was given to every district head(District Collector/Deputy Commissioner) including the Hon'ble PM,President,Chief Ministers and Governors.Knowledge on High Quality CPR was imparted to the attendees.Specifically to involve every district in Telangana , the state Health minister was informed . 12 teams of volunteers with Mannekins were sent to govt hospitals in 6 districts in and around warangal -Bhongir,Jangaon, Eturunagaram, mulugu, Bhupalpally, INAVOLU PHC, Perumandlagudem,, Mahbubabad,Narsampet,Kamalapur, Hasanparthy ,Wardhannapet .At each place around 100 Persons which included lay public and medical staff were trained in CPR. The training was coordinated over Zoom and 130 persons joined the Zoom meet. Of this ,100 were students and college staff from a college in Mangalore , Karnataka . CPR pamphlets in English,Telugu and HIndi were shared with all the above attendees.
Dr Srinivas Ramaka ,Consultant Cardiologist,Srinivasa Heart Centre and Chairman and Managing Trustee,Srinivasa Heart Foundation organised the event.We wish to continue the Nationwide campaign on CPR reaching out to every district in the country .The ultimate aim of the National CPr Challenge campaign is to improve survival from Sudden cardiac arrests and reduce premature morbidity and mortality from CVD.i thank all doctors , staff and volunteers for all the support .
