Nigerian Heart Foundation Commemorates World Heart Day 2022

The theme for this year’s World Heart Day is “Use Heart for Every Heart”. In commemoration of the day, Nigerian Heart Foundation is involving all her Partners and Stakeholders to emphasize the relationship between Climate change and Cardiovascular Health.
Nigerian Heart Foundation World Press Conference was held at the Conference room of Nigerian Heart Foundation on the 29th of September 2022.
The Media was fully represented and the press conference was widely publicized in both Print and Electronic Media throughout the Country with coverage of not less than 15 million people.
Her Excellency, The First Lady Of Lagos State, Dr (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo – Olu was represented by a Senior State Official at the event and the address of the First Lady was read.
Nigerian Heart Foundation Nollywood Ambassadors, Bicycle club representatives were present at the occasion amongst other Stakeholders.
NHF Bike – a – Heart Shaped Route is scheduled to hold in two (2) locations on the 8th October 2022, and 15th October 2022 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Nigerian Heart Foundation presented a Spinner Bicycle and copies of Nigerian Heart Foundation (NHF) “MY HEALTHY HEART POCKETBOOK” to Her Excellency, the First Lady of Lagos State.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo- Olu, represented by Mrs. Patience Ogunnubi, in her remarks, Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo- Olu reiterated the importance of healthy lifestyles, especially engaging in regular physical activity in the promotion of a healthy population.
The event, “Bike – A Heart Shaped Route” and the Nigerian Heart Foundation Nollywood Stars Four Way Heart Awareness Quiz (Social Media) were launched.
Other Charity organizations that marked the World Heart Day include; Centre for Happy Elderly People, Kanu Heart Foundation and Quest Oil Engineering Limited.
